How to use our soy candle

Scented soy candles are a popular way to add a pleasant fragrance to your home while creating a warm and cozy atmosphere. Here are the steps to use a scented soy candle:

  1. Choose a location: Select a location for your candle, away from anything flammable and where it won't be knocked over. A flat surface like a table or countertop is ideal.

  2. Trim the wick: Trim the wick to about 1/4 inch before lighting the candle. This will help prevent excessive smoke and uneven burning.

  3. Light the candle: Use a lighter or matches to light the wick. Hold the flame to the base of the wick until it catches fire, then let go.

  4. Let the wax melt: Allow the candle to burn long enough to create a full pool of melted wax across the surface of the candle. This helps to prevent tunneling, which is when the candle burns down the middle, leaving unmelted wax around the edges.

  5. Enjoy the scent: Once the wax has melted, the scent will start to fill the room. Soy candles tend to have a more subtle scent than other types of candles, so you may need to be closer to the candle to fully experience the fragrance.

  6. Monitor the candle: Keep an eye on the candle while it's burning to ensure it's not near anything flammable or being burned for too long. For safety, it's recommended to not burn candles for more than 3-4 hours at a time.

  7. Extinguish the candle: Use a snuffer or carefully blow out the candle when you're finished using it. Avoid blowing too hard, which can cause hot wax to splatter or the wick to move off center.

Soy candles tend to burn slower and more evenly than other types of candles, so with proper care, your scented soy candle can last for many hours and provide a long-lasting scent.
